Description
The City of Virginia Beach is soliciting Statements of Interest and Qualifications from Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firms for the provision of engineering and related consulting services for Light Rail and Related Transit Modes. Services will include, but not be limited to, reviewing proposals and studies for the extension of Light Rail into Virginia Beach, from its current terminus at Newtown Road; developing independent estimates of construction, operating, maintenance, and other costs; reviewing design and construction documents; construction phase oversight and consulting services; consulting services related to federal and state agency regulations, funding, and involvement; and general engineering and consulting services in all aspects of Light Rail and Related Transit Modes.
