Pasadena Citywide Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Project

pasadena / Transportation Department

Description

The City of Pasadena is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services for the development and adoption of a Citywide Active Transportation Plan. This initiative, funded by the Federal Highway Administration’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program, must meet all SS4A Action Plan requirements. Building on Pasadena’s longstanding commitment to active transportation, the project will integrate and expand upon prior planning efforts—including the 2024 Pedestrian Transportation Action Plan, 2021 Greenways Feasibility Study, 2015 Bicycle Transportation Action Plan, and 2006 Pedestrian Plan—to establish a comprehensive, citywide vision for walking, biking, and rolling. The plan will align with and support current updates to the City’s Specific Plans.
