Description
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to enter into a contract with a licensed, qualified firm to provide the necessary resources (telecommunications equipment, telephone services and human resources) to successfully manage and operate the Telephone Information Center (TIC); assist the public with transportation information and materials regarding FAIRFAX CONNECTOR bus service, Metrorail and Metrobus service, VRE and other public and private transportation services in Fairfax County and surrounding jurisdictions; and, finally, contribute to the FAIRFAX COUNTY Department of Transportation’s goal of becoming one of the nation’s top transit systems, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Request for Proposal.
