Site & Civil Design Svcs for Western Loudoun Park & Ride Lot

Description
The intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain proposals from qualified Consultants to provide site/civil design services and construction support services for the design of the Western Loudoun Park and Ride Lot located in Purcellville, Virginia. To complete this project, the following services are anticipated to be required: land and utility surveys, site rezoning, base mapping, geotechnical investigations, environmental investigations, site/civil design services, paving design, preparation and processing of construction plans, drainage/stormwater management design, completion of traffic studies/signal warrant analyses, traffic signal design plans, landscape design services, preparation of signage and striping plans, preparation of maintenance of traffic plans, public meeting support, and bidding and construction phase support services. The Project is federally funded using Congestion, Mitigation, and Air Quality funding for the design portion of the project and Smart Scale funds for the construction portion. Resultantly, the design of this project shall follow the policies and procedures set forth in the Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) Locally Administered Projects (LAP) Manual; specifically federally funded projects.
